Currently studying Jung, it's always a pleasure reading other works that include his theories and observations about psychology! I thought this article was very well done.
Having just read this, I'd love to ask you for some book recommendations! Particularly, what did you research to arrive at these insights?
I can't wait to hear back and I'm excited to read more!
I'm very happy that you noticed the concepts of Jung. I think his ideas are under-appreciated and so fitting for todays world. In many ways he was ahead of its time.
Most of the insights from this article come from personal experience and work with my clients. I read hundreds of books that influenced my philosophy in some way, so it's hard to give any concrete book recommendations.
Since you're studying in Jung, "The Hero and the Outlaw" could be interesting. It applies the concepts of archetypes to business context.
From Jung himself "The Archetypes and the Collective Unconscious" is a great read. Currently I'm rereading "The Undiscovered Self" also by Jung. It opened a new world for me, though less related to insights discussed in the article.
Really enjoyed this article. There were some fantastic passages. One of my favorites:
"Your obsession with "finding an audience" is the very thing keeping you from getting one.
You don't have an audience problem. You have a signal problem.
Your job isn't to find people. Your job is to become so undeniably, authentically, and usefully yourself that the right people can't help but find you.

Thanks for taking the time to read my article.
Appreciate the book recommendations as well.
No need for thanks, it was a pleasure to read. Thank you for recommending The Hero and the Outlaw—I will check this out.
It’s always a delight to get rec’s from like-minded writers. Happy we connected.
Insightful read, Philipp. Niche is a signal, not a box.
Chasing niches from the outside-in, tend to leave us disconnected from our own identity. It drains us in the process. With burnout as a side-effect.
Starting with “Who am I?” and building outward from psyche, pathos, and purpose (love how you framed that) could be the answer.
Great piece.
Thanks, I appreciate you taking the time.
Makes me happy to hear you liked the psyche, pathos, and purpose. Took me some time to come up with that.
I freaking loved this piece. Made me curious about the particular intersection of Psyche, Pathos, and Purpose that lead you to write this one.
I'm happy to hear this.
Very nice question, I'm in the process of writing a post that might answer it.
I’ve literally just written a piece challenging the idea of finding a niche - great minds

How do you do this?
You build from the inside out."
Beautiful summary Lukas, thanks for adding this!
Thank you for writing that article, Philipp. 🔥

Nailed it.
I love that you chose this part. It summarizes the main point.
I really appreciate how you write. It gives me a lot of clarity.
I am definitely guilty of overthinking but I'm making a change on that now and the next months.
Thanks for the read.
Really glad it helped you. I guess overthinking is what we all struggle with at times.
