For so long, we’ve been told to conquer the ego, to try and strip it down at all costs, and fight it as if it were the enemy standing between our truest essence and the ultimate fulfillment. When, in alignment with our deepest truth, it can become the very instrument for profound transformation - a vessel that solidifies our purest expression into form. This is alchemy in action.

Many great points here. This is actually the journey I am on, consistently trying to wean myself away from those "add value, solve a pain point, provide something useful" conditioned impulses.

I find it's challenging because "follow my curiosity, do what's fun, write about something I don't understand" impulses lead me away from the security of feeling like I'm doing what my parents and teachers said -- pat on the head to me!

But I think you're right that, in order to create something truly transformative for ourselves and our society, we have to be willing to get off the beaten path of what other people already know they want. Thank you for highlighting this!
